Unusually
for a Western bonsai enthusiast, my passion for
Bonsai
began in Japan and almost by accident. However it soon blossomed
into a full blown obsession, taking me on a long and arduous
path studying at one of the
top bonsai gardens in Japan for four years before leaving to start
working on my
own. I stand in the unique position of having a purely Japanese
bonsai education from one of the worlds most well known masters, Kunio
Kobayashi
Based in both
the UK and
Japan, I work anywhere and make a difference with clients
and students from around the globe including the US and Europe. I
offer
a fully comprehensive bonsai service, from workshops and demonstrations
to work on
private collections, consultations, and guided tours. Through my
numerous contacts in Japan I am able to offer an ever changing range of
trees, antique pots, and suiseki, all
of the finest quality and not to be found elsewhere.
