Inukamogawa Kannon Sugata-ishi

SOLD

8 x 4.5 x 13

A stone from the little know Inukamogawa in Shiga prefecture this appears to have wonderfully soft and warm texture.  Pock marked and highly textured this is an interesting stone both geologically and in form.  Classified as a Kannon Sugata stone, it is said to represent the figure of Kannon, the Buddhist deity of mercy.  A tall and thin stone it has grace, age and quite a powerful presence for such a small stone.
Easy to display it could be used as an accompaniment to a much larger tree or displayed by itself with a small scroll and accent plant.

A discount is available if purchased with the table shown.  Details can be found here

Separately the price would be $250, together $200.
