Shikishi kakejiku - Removable Art Board Hanging Scroll
These scrolls are designed to be used with shikishi, art boards. They offer a cost effective way of displaying bonsai and suiseki throughout the year. All are the same size, but vary slightly in age, colour and material.

This is a much older scroll with much more patina and refinement than a new one. You can see from the second picture the difference between the green colour in the centre and the sun faded surround. This will limit the use of the scroll to the rectangular shikishi.
Made from high quality silk on heavy grade quality this is not a standard mass produced scroll. The design is more refined and graceful than many of the modern scrolls available and would suit an aged formal tree or larger suiseki with a patina and age equal to the scroll.
Shipped in a cardboard box. A paulonia wood "jiku-bako" can be obtained on request.
